And so, I had my start accident with the truck this afternoon. I was backing out of the driveway and backed into a car. It scratched the corner of my bumper, the damage was non too bad. Does anyone know how I tin get the scratches out of the chrome? Thanks in advance or whatsoever help ya'll can provide.
  2. Not much you tin really do. If its low-cal, you can try a chrome polish to see if it'll aid remove/hide it. Otherwise, chrome is a relatively hard plating that isnt easily repaired. The trick to removing any scratch is to reduce the surrounding area to a level closer to the depth of the scratch in order to make it less noticeable. Doing this w/ chrome really isnt possible. Put a sticker over it imo.

Unfortunately refinishing chrome isn't every bit simple as refinishing paint. If your scratch is downward to the bare metallic, you'll demand to put something on it to proceed it from rusting. Maybe fifty-fifty some rattle-can articulate... Spray the clear into the cap until it pools, and then just utilise some to the scrach via Q-tip. You'll run into the scratch, just at least it won't rust.

If your scratch isn't downwards to the metal, you may be able to polish it upwardly a bit. Get a skillful chrome smoothen, and a polishing adapter for your drill, and try it out.
